In the Scripts section, you'll find a number of zipped *.ls files. Once you have downloaded and unzipped the file, you can import it into Director as a script and save it in a cast library.

You might want to create a special external cast library and store it in the Libs folder alongside Director (or in the Configuration file alongside Director MX 2004). Doing so will mean that you can access the scripts from the Library Palette. You might also want to use the GIF icon as the thumbnail for your new script member.

For Behaviors and Parent Scripts, you'll need to set the scriptType of each member as appropriate. If you don't you will not be able to drag behaviors onto the Stage or into the Score window and drop them on any sprites. Any Movie script that has an 'on new()' method will override the built-in new() method for creating new cast members, and this could lead to unexpected errors.

The individual stripts in this section are updated from time to time, as I add features, remove bugs or optimize the code. I also add new scripts whenever I have more to share.

The links below allow you to download a complete cast library of scripts, but this library is not updated as frequently as the individual scripts are.

If there's a particular script that you think I may have written, and you don't find it here, drop me a line.
